Hi guys

I have just seen the widely available scanner 1.4.0 in use (thanks fenj66) and was impressed with the ease of use etc. I have searched ebay and found this one also

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Fault-cod ... 1025wt_922

I noticed it says that this is the one used by the BMW garages? Question is do you think this version is easy to use, offers same functions as scanner 1.4.0 or more?

Thanks

Looks like its for INPA software. The other disc is DIS which is just technical data thats available online. I have inpa which will read fault codes and reset them, the programming side of the software included with that is ncs expert which is complicated and If you don't know what your doing you can do a lot of damage. The software is a pain to set up and get running.
I also have BMW scanner 1.4.0 which you've seen how easy it is to use. I have not used inpa since getting BMW scanner. You'll be able to get the cables and software from china for around £35. I'm sure someone will be along to provide eBay links soon

I still need to order a scanner too. Did see the INPA software one too but seems the scanner 1.4.0 is best really.
