New M6 pics and details

Post by 535dboy » Tue Feb 14, 2012 1:43 pm

So for some reason I got sent an email of this but glad I did

http://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=647170

First BMW I have seen for ages where I have actually gone wow!

As much as I criticised the new M5 I thought this could actually really work for the Mrs

Spoke to the dealer this morning to ask about prices

Coupe £95k !
Vert (the one I really like) £99k !

There are bound to be a couple of options to add to that so £110k spec easily !

Hello new V8V Aston or 2nd hand Ferrari 458 or.............

That is mega money

Lets hope they depreciate something chronic like the old one, just need somebody to choose the colour spec/ that I want - ie the blue one in the pic please

I always did have a soft spot for the 6 series, and this new M6 - especially the 'vert' - is a good un. That's a big ask though on the price. As you say, let's hope the depreciation is a bad as a Citroen, then it will be in the 'sensible' range in a shorter period..... :)

i don't know if its the general soft spot for bmw styling but its 'unbelievably' sexy! especially the back! the front is a little ordinary bmwish.

having said that it lacks something - its the unusualness of the current or prev 6 series, many thought it was ugly at the start, by now it has commanded respect and a cult-like following - a sort of 'acquired taste' that only a company like bmw can command. this car is ordinary in that respect, its beautiful from the start, it doesn't upset you by being out of the ordinary... if my logic is comprehensible :tumbleweed:

Know what you mean there jaynana...

Went to eye-up the E70's and was mesmerised by the 640d on display - OMFG...

And for the record, no not looking at the getting an E70, just pipe-dreams and some free time.

Before you say it pvr no, not lots of free time! ;)
