Post by malc1950 » Mon Feb 20, 2012 3:56 pm

My wheel studs are starting to rust and rather than buying new ones i have been looking at buying stud covers,
has anyone bought the covers if so what are they like ? i have seen chrome ones and stainless steel ones on Ebay for around £12 but you dont get a lot for £12
and i dont want them to look cheap and nasty :)

I bought a set of gun metal ones off fleabay which I have fitted with my summer wheels. They look much better than the sight of stud heads. They are metal not placcy so could last longer (you can never tell with ebay shat!!)

I've got a similar problem exacerbated by the stuff they use at the car wash.
I like the sound of gun metal ones. How much did you pay?

Think they were around 12 quid. They are very similar to these ones: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TPI-BLACK-WHE ... 2a0782b7c3
