Intravee installed

I installed my intravee in the boot and cable tied it in place to keep it from rattling around. Held in place with a cable tie, and with the serial port accessable.

i removed the boot floor, spare wheel and the two black plastic pads in the boot. Item 1 and 6 (sorry didnt take a pic of this.

and ran the cables behind the panels and cable tied my new cables to the existing ones (you will see what i mean when you get to this stage)
You can poke your cables through where the thick red cable runs through under the rear seat (again will make sense when you see it)
You can lift the seat up by pulling up on it. I didnt bother removing the back seat all the way as i only needed to lift it up enough to pull out the block of foam and wedge the KCA-420i in place (if you need to put your back seats down while your doing this then pull plenty of length out as the seatbelts lock in place when the seats are down). Then replace the foam again. initially i was looking for the removable bit of foam in the actual rear seat but its actually right at the side of where the seat fits. Follow the red arrow and youll see what i mean

Remove the two rear footlights. The cover pings off with a flat bladed screwdriver and then 2 bolts will allow you to take them out of the way once unplugged. this will give you a bit more room to lift the carpet up to run your leads to the centre console (dont forget to hang the cables back through the carpet once youve done) also removing the two rear door sill covers will help.
I used another guide supplied by Sanj for slackening up the centre consol enough to pull the cable through. you will probably need something to pull the cable through like a wire coathanger.
Your cable is in the rough location for where you want it, so once youve put the car back together again youll need to do whatever else you need to do to make that ipod/iphone jack socket available. I went a bit mad from here and stripped down a brand new iphone 4 snap in adapter, ripped all the gubbins out and refitted a modified 30 pin ipod extender cable into the snap in adapter.

(ignore that big hole - made a mistake with the cable routing)

I then ran the cable up under the arm rest under the cover

so now looks oem

and when i stick my phone in it connects to the intravee and charges my phone.
I really hope the iphone 5 fits the snap in adapter when its released. Even if it doesnt i still have the standard ipod lead on and extension under the arm rest.
One last thing.....i had trouble getting my cable through to the centre console as there was a bit of doubled up carpet that i couldnt tease out for about an hour,i had both rear doors open for a while and the boot. I also finished off the install in the morning as it was dark when i got the cable through eventually. I left my intrerior lights on overnight and flattened my battery.
Turn your lights off when doing the install and do it in daylight
Hope this helps someone.
