I'm selling my car after a year of ownership. I love it, but I'm doing too many miles and I need something more economical.

Mileage 63k. I bought it at 45k and have used it entirely on the motorway.
Inspection 2 and tax just done (higher band unfortunately).
New front discs and pads. New rear pads.
Comms Pack, Climate Pack, Premium Pack, Sport Plus Pack.
DSP
Regular oil changes between services
4 Toyo tyres with loads of tread left.

I've put this ad together quickly. I'll edit with more info when I can. I'm at work on and off for the next few days so I'll check back when I can.

What do people think is a fair price?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Kris

All I can offer is that my 2005 went last September with 54k and similar options (the only things not fitted were heated rear seats, DSP Sound! Ski Hatch and a heated wheel) for £16k. A year newer car you would be looking around the same figures about now. Somewhere between £15k-£16k. Prices are being hit again because of the price of fuel is climbing to stoopid levels.

We're already making more use of the Mini than the X6.

I'm looking for one of these at the moment but has to be with cream leather so yours would not do. I am pretty up on prices and the cheapest I have seen lately was a garage selling at £13,995. No DSP or heated rear seats but everything else and it had done 78k.

There are others with much higher mileage at around £12k.

There are a few for sale at Main Dealers for up to £17k.

If you want to move yours quickly I'd say around £12k and perhaps a grand more if you are prepared to wait. Hurts I know but it's the reality of selling big cars these days even if they will average 30 mpg.

Good luck.

Sold mine (July 2005 SE with 82k) for £10k a month back, so £14 - £15 seems about the level I would expect from a newer Sport model with fewer miles.

Thanks.

I'll pop it in the For Sale section when I get time.

As others have said £15k sounds around the right price point and would say £12k is being very hard IMHO. However it is a buyers market so the need for flexibility will be important. Just one point to make though is that your 'X' is the Le Mans Ed not a Sport Exclusive  these only came in Carbon Black & Stratus Grey

Thanks for that.

Is my paint colour correct for a Le Mans edition? I thought Le Mans blue was lighter? I just went with the original sale advert which said Sport Exclusive, but I think you're right.

Le Mans ED only came in Le Mans Blue as per your 'X' the Sport Exclusive also came with 2 Individual Extended Nappa Leather Interiors Cinnamon & Ercu along with matched piped interior mats. HTH

Should also add that you have Nappa Leather as this was part of the Premium Pack

All edited thanks.

I started using the RS4 on the motorway, but it wasn't happy so I got the X5 to be more economical; which to be fair it was. I do love my cars but, as much as I hate to admit, my driving has become A to B. I've done 19k since last June and it's not gonna change for the foreseeable future. The X5 gets mid to late 30s on the motorway which isn't bad, but 50+ is better.

I got rid of the RS4 about 6 months ago and now I'm sniffing around a 3/520d M Sport.

:(

Don't be sad I came from a V8 to a e61 520d (177 bhp) and am very happy with it. 50mpg will still be a little way of but no reason not to see mid to late 40's. F11's have 183 bhp as do last of the e9x 3er's
