Any one know the name of the part pictured. Looking on realoem I think it's item no 6, guiding suspension link. Can't find anything on eurocarparts website. Wasn't much help when I rang either. Does it have a more common name?

Yeah, wheel off and a couple of bolts. Just wondering if hub needs jacking up to take some tension out. Will have to try and find a how to when I get home

Having to go from memory and bearing in mind i didnt do it i dont actually remember the strut being under that much tension. It is literally just there as a stabilising bar to control the movement of the suspension

This link may help fella viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2762 be carefull when undoing the nut at tge back. Make sure you lock the bokt and undo the nut as the bolt is elongated and only turns three quarters left or right as it controls the tracking.

Will probably get the part from allgermanparts then stick it in with local garage. Taking note of hub to wing measurement incase i need to re-tighten it under load if the garage doesnt. Although i will tell him too.

Did you get the tracking checked once you changed yours? or is that different on the rear?
