4.6is v focus ST

Agree with all the praising comments for the e39!! When I was in late teens my father had a red 528i sport, I loved that car!!!! He only got rid of it last year with 138000 (still like a train) for an e60 and still think the interior finish on the e39 was better!! (one of the salesmen at the garage ended up buying it off him privately for more Thant they offered part ex. this new one has low miles from our local BMW dealer but you can already see signs of wear to door card plastics etc, ie peeling etc. But still a great car, I do think the e60 design has aged beautifully and they still look fresh to this day!! If anything they look more suited now than when they first came out.

Did you have a flower on the dash of the Beetle? :D

Turks.[/quote]

Ha ha, no but the Mrs did! I was given the Almera from my dad and it was on the way out so for some strange reason I saw an 12 month old Beetle at a good price and bought it. The plot gets worse as my wife had a Beetle at the same time  I only had it for 6 months until common sense prevailed.

Cosidering how this thread started it has turned out to be quite an interesting one with all the previous cars mentioned :D any more takers for a blast from the past :D
Does anyone have more embarasing cars that they remember(or want to forget  ) from there 'boy racer days' like ones with go faster stripes or bigg ass spoilers and body kits that don't fit!
I remember my mate had an old beatle with a 'whale tail' spoiler on the back it looked like a bloody picnic table was hanging of the back of it  but he loved it

Hey jeegnesh, love the fact that you went from a boxster to an x5!

Mine, starting from oldest
Vw polo
Vw polo
(both owned by mother)!
Vauxhall astra
Vauxhall astra
Vauxhall astra
Chevrolet lumina
Vauxhall vectra gsi
BMW 330 coupe msport
Porsche boxster new one
(these were all company cars)
So, first car I actually owned BMW 525i
And 2nd is BMW x5 35d msport

Which did I like best? Probably the boxster , a toy car but fun.
