4.8is on a 3.0d?

can i fit these on my 3.0d? will it still pass emmisions and everything?
Fit what? Exhausts?
Probably yes, but you will need some welding done as the pipes are a different diameter. I think people have fitted the back boxes to these cars successfully with a bit of modification.
Emissions wise, as long as you keep as much of the original pipework as possible you should be fine. You need to maintain the right back pressure in the system, or have a remap done should there be any issues.
What you will notice is soot on the rear bumper. The 30d has no DPF which is why the exhausts point at the road. The later E70 versions come with DPFs as standard so exit to the rear.
