Im sat here cleaning mine before fitting to my 3.0d tomorrow and just wonder does the shorter part go at the top or bottom when fitted so I know how fussy to be with my polishing

Short but at bottom. Guess so it doesn't catch water

Should to fine hopefully and pics will be up later not that will be that interesting as will just look like a 4.8
