I have just got an ipod touch 4gen and when I go on this site it asks me do I want to download the tapatalk app, what exactly is it and what will it do?

Essentially a free app that allows you better viewing of a forum or the paid version which gives you the added option to then also use it to post/reply to the threads.

I'm sure I paid £1.79 for it?

Not a bad app, makes viewing the forum much easier than through Safari.
