I'll check with the diary when she gets home and check pass probability :)

About 125 miles from here, 2hrs 20mins according to Google Maps.

Great drive then!

What date are we now thinking please? I'd love September as 4th August is out now for me (Olympics).

Needs to be late August onwards for those 'dahn sarff' in order to avoid travelling for the Olympics & Paralympics (which run until 9th Sept).  If it's going later still then I can't do late Oct to mid-Nov as will be a long way away (not far enough will be the chorus I can hear already!! :)) )?  Do we need to bear the school timetables in mind too?  I don't have any rug rats so have no idea of these things.....

Haven't got anything booked between mid-July and then at present.

If this meet does go ahead could we persuade Jason to come and do his trickery with re-maps etc, I'll definitely have mine done this time?

Ok, it's looking like this ain't happening in July/August, sooooooo let me see what weekend dates RAF Cosford have in September that don't already have events on.

Could start off at Cosford, then maybe do karting/bowling and finish off with a meal/drinks evening.

Looks OK at present for me too.....I might even have got the hang of this snow-foam lark by then.  Need to get it stay on the car rather than just dribble off (too much info) as it does now.

Remember the first meet at Cosford in 2009.
Hopefully I could make a Sept meet at Cosford,( subject to me due to go into hosp in the autumn for major spine rebuild with rods, decompression of discs and putting in new bits of bone from my hip) 12hr job and 6 months convalescing.
Awaiting date, and reason for not doing too much posting of late, can only function in the morning have to rest up by 2pm,too much pain.

Hi Lez,

I know you've been through the mill as of late. Damn this looks like a really big one to go through mate.

Let me/us know when you're going in - let Joy have my details so I can ask.

Hope you are able to make the next Meet, would love to see you again.

Take care.

Apologies to Raj for hijack. :)

Hi Lez,

Not good, but at least you can see some light at the end of the tunnel now.  Fingers, toes and everything else possible crossed for you.  Still restricted to 4 hours work a day myself (was 5 but been back-squadded by Nursy for misbehaving  O:-) :)) )

PS ......  Some of the painkillers are wonderful.... :)) :))

And if you need 'motivation' to get on your feet again, just set the TV to repeat Jeremy Kyle shows endlessly......you get better real fast!!
