Hi all
Will fitting none genuine BMW 22" wheels give cause for a total voiding of my BMW AUC warranty, just anything linked to the wheel fitment or be fine, dependant on dealer?
I really like the Onyx wheels and was thinking of selling my genuine 20" 259's with new rubber for a set of Onyx to try amd make me gel with the X6 more )
The Onyx are all one width but having checked online a 295 30 22 tyre size is only 1% different to OEM.
Dont want to loose a 2 year waraanty over wheels, and think i know the general consensus on this already >:(
Thanks
Carl

Will None BMW 22" Wheels Void BMW Warranty
Re: Will None BMW 22" Wheels Void BMW Warranty
I went through some of this when i was looking at winter wheels........spoke to BMW and they said that if any components that fail can be linked to the non standard wheels they would not pay up.
Ive got the adaptive drive on mine and knowing how expensive that was i wasnt going to risk it.
Best thing to do is give the stealer a call and speak to their warranty people and ask but yeah i think you know the answer already

Mine doesn't have adaptive drive and I am thinking that suspension arms will not be covered anyway, or atleast the dealer will claim wear and tear and not pay up even with the standard 20's. The BMW 21's are very expensive and I fancy black to go with the black car.
