Whilst I wait for any potential buyers to appear, and not the time wasters I've been getting so far, I'm going to get the pixels sorted out, there's only a few that have been affected, but it would be one less thing for the new owner to do, and it looks better when selling.
I'm going to send it to the place in Southhampton, so I need to remove it, is this fairly straight forward, or are there any tricks to getting it out safely, and in one piece.

    I saw them, and thought, it can't be that easy, is it?

Unusually for a BMW, yes it is.  Just electrical connections behind if I remember correctly.

Just pull the steering column all the way closest to you and down as far as it will go. Then, remove the binnacle.

Don't switch the car on and if you open the drivers door the steering column moves up! I remember crawling out the passenger side (just test to work out how to get out without resetting everything)!

Hi let me no the turn round time and cost please, going on my hols in a few weeks well 12 days. This would be a good time to send mine off, then i can have it posted at the neighbours.

Turn around time is approx 2 days, should be back with me Friday or Saturday, cost wise, it's £100+£15 P&P for them to send it back.
