webasto question (again :))

those who have telestart or remote start sorted out on the webastos (ie, switching it on by giving +12v to pin 1), if you give +12v to pin 1 on a day like today (23c outside), does the webasto run?

basically, does the switch on method of +12v to pin 1 seem to ignore the outside temperature checks?

thx

Tried mine yesterday, 24c outside and it fired up until i switched it off 15 mins later . 2 years ago i fitted a Telestart T90 module / antenna / remote and programmed the aux heating on the OBD using BMW scanner 1.4.0 and always assumed it only worked with the outside temperature below 5c .

thanks, it just confirms that the second method of firing up the webasto - that is +12v to pin 1 ignores the temperature checks (plus possibly more).

the primary method of firing up which is a k-bus command does the temperature check plus more..

so what you thought is not exactly wrong..
