I was reading the blog here http://xdrivers.co.uk/forum/https://xdr ... ic.php?t=9 and am interested in buying one of these scanners for my E53 , but I have a question , the model suggested here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310249608189? ... 1497.l2649 says at the bottom ''not compatible with Windows 7'' .
As that's my operating system , does anyone have a scanner recommendation for that pls ??

My bmw 1.4.0 scanners said not compatible with windows 7, but I googled some instructions and downloaded a driver to get it to work and I really am crap with computer stuff lol

On a seperate note what is a e36 b8 4.6 I'm interested to see....

i also have a scanner 1.4.0 working on my netbook with windows 7

It's a somewhat quick Alpina tuned E36......I worked with someone who had the 5-series Alpina from that era and it went like a bat out of hell but was comfy as anything.  The E36 B8 will put an M3 to shame....

just googled it....wow... in all my 9 years of bmwing ive never heard of that, i think i deffo need one of them engines into my e30 now, i wanted to make a 340i anyway but thats sold it, right to ebay it is!

can someone post a link to the windows 7 driver as i have the same problem.  Says the USB interface is not connected.
