Alloy wheels,.. a quick yes or no please.

Hi,... I'm selling the original 19" alloy wheels off my 2003 X5 (dont know their type name) but lots for sale on ebay... 255 x50 x19 / 285 x 45 x 19
A guy has just phoned me asking if they will fit his X3 ?
I told him to contact BMW, he did , and they won't confirm to him if they will or not.
I knew a good place to ask,......... here !
anyone ?
