Hello everyone, I'm on a lot of different car forums around the UK, first time on this one though  :)

Just a bought an LPG'd 2002 X5 3.0 Sport and absolutely loving it so far. Will put a thread up when I get some pics together. Actually found the forum while searching for answers to my wheel fitment issues, so hopefully get to the bottom of them soon!

Welcome! :ok:

Friendly forum, a cut above the rest (you'll see).

KDS is the OEM recommended 4 wheel laser alignment. Full tank of fuel and 62kgs of weight in the car (I think). Do a quick search, I did post this up a loooong time back.

But 4 wheel alignment with laser and as long as you have all the bushes sorted should make life easier.

Welcome, isn't that Don's part of the world?

If you see a pink X6 in your area, that will be him  :))

Can't say I've noticed any pink X5s around here lol.

It's actually wheel fitment issues I'm having, for some reason it came out as figment on the first post but changed now. And yes, I will be getting laser alignment done an all.

Fitment issues are im fitting E70 wheels. Got the spigot rings and the fronts fit no problem, but having trouble with the back wheels catching the inner arch. Wheels are 11x20 ET37, fitted with 315/35 r20, so was trying to figure out 1) what size spacer I need, and 2) Can I use the slip on ones or do I need to buy the full on bolt on ones? What's the widest I can go on standard wheel bolts?

Cheers for the welcomes  8)

And it's 'Vermilion' not pink..... :P

pvr has a 'hairdressers car', so all reds are pinks to him...... 8)

Replied to your PM matey.

Welcome aboard again.

Depending upon how much space you have available the spacers will be non bolt on ones as you have to go a minimum of 20mm for the bolt on type.

You'll need longer bolts with any spacers 5mm and upwards.

Lovely part of the country. Other than the money grabbing bastards disguised as 'Safety Cameras' on the A1!  >:D
