slightly odd one.

just got the x back from the local dealer having had the rear repaired after somebody crumpled their Punto into it.

The towbar cover doesnt fit properly and is sticking out on one side. on closer inspection the Westfalia electrics port is too proud for the cover to fit flush.

I definitely noticed this immediately after the accident and took it to mean something deep inside was bent, so am a little surprised that this is still the case after it has been in a dealers for 5 days!

Can anyone who has fitted a towbar shed any light on this?

i would have thought they had the whole bumper off and checked everything- it has all been repsrpayed with new pdc sensors etc

dont really want it back in the shop- i've only driven it 4 times

I had the same problem when I fitted mine , I bet the bumper has been pushed on a little to much check the wheel arches to see if its flush , in not just bend the 13 pin socket up a little
