Hey all,

Just bought an all-round set for the X5...cost QUITE a lot!  Wondered if anyone knew any decent places for the future to get some at a reasonable price?

Also, if anyone has a 4.8...where did you get the back ones from? actually finding somewhere which stocks these is a nightmare!!!

what size tyres you running as there not the standard 4.8is wheels, i presume their 22s ? it all depends on what make tyres you want how you drive it etc, im currently on the gripiest quietist budget 22 tyres ive ever had and have no complaints at all!

Yeah they are 22".  fronts are 285/35 and rear are 315/35 (stock width & profile, just larger diameter).

I ran AC type II 22's and had 295/30/22 all round. Check out Camskill as they have that size in Toyo ST's for £190.30 each.

Also I'd say you shouldn't really be running those size tyres. They are too far out from stock. Usually there is a margin of +/- 2.5%, but the 285/35/22 is over 4% difference and the 315/35/22 is over 7% difference. And running that difference between front/rear is also not healthy for the tyres.
