Midlands Christmas Meet / Meal 23rd December

Post by snipez999 » Mon Dec 17, 2012 11:41 pm

I used to be a OCD'er but handed over detailing duties to a bud who gave up his job to donut full time. Trusted with my last 4 cars all from PDI stage and detailed at the dealers storage point. I don't have time or inclination to spend a day on each car these days so just wanted to try out some low effort gear to keep shine on over Xmas (don't tell wife that I just spent 200 notes on it though LMAO!!)

If I had the money tbh I'd probably do the same. I don't mind spending the time cleaning, etc but I do find sometimes that I'd much prefer doing other things as life's just too damn busy.

And as for the spend....lol.....I never tell her how much anything really costs as I'd not probably not be here to tell the tale...lol.

Pity you can't extend your stay in the Mids as would be good to get a few more together.

Well the detailer was here this morning, and just after he left the Dodo kit turned up :-)
Will just use the enhancers over the top of the Swissvax, and try out the tyreshine and Bilberry non-acid wheel cleaner.  Not planning on spending more than an hour on a tart up (a false economy paying someone else to do it if I do it again myself 3 days later really!!)

Look forward to seeing the results. I only use and recommend Billberry wheel cleaner so you'll be pleased with that purchase for sure.

Good luck and hope the pain isn't too bad for too much longer.

PMSL. Too true and nothing new for the Midlands. The amount offers I've tried to organise in the Mids only different forums.

Thought the likes of BlackX5, Shez1878 and ianmaney would make the effort (Come on boys).
