OE Xenon Pink - Fault Diagnosing

As title - Nearside dipped unit emitting pink light. Car has done approx 110k miles and is 11 years old.
Never has a xenon failure before so wondering it this means it needs new :
1. Bulb
2. Balast- (control Unit)
3. Light Control Module
My money (212 USD according to realoem) is on the bulb.
Is there any easy way to tell what issue is, (I was going to swap nearside & offside bulbs around to pinpoint/eliminate the issue) ?
Thoughts/experiences appreciated.

Just done some trawling on web & reckon if it's the bulb I need Osram D2S 66240
Unsure if I will need 4150k or 4300k...........research thus far suggests 4150k - This is quite important as I will want the replacement to match the working unit.
Any info appreciated.

Given the bulbs have a service life of around 2,000 hours there's a fair chance the other lamp's colour temperature will have altered over the 11 years and you might be better off fitting a pair of 4,300K bulbs. It too may be approaching EOL.
Osram bulbs are a lot cheaper than shown on Realoem these days, although BMW Dealers will still try to charge you that kind of money.
Those particular bulbs (4200K) are currently showing as £43 each on
Amazon... and no doubt cheaper elsewhere.

Hi AW8
I would be reasonably confident that its the bulb but as you suggested the bets way to be sure before spending money on parts would be to swap the bulbs over.
Standard bulbs from the dealer are a fortune, i fitted an aftermarket osram for a mate a few weeks ago and it was fine and a fraction of the cost i believe.
Cheers
Steve
