mine drive me mad!  they are a bit erratic at time and seem to have a mind of their own. the previous keeper replaced them but they still tend to beep when they want to ............ or not.  personally i dont like them nor rely on them so might just take the fuse out. 

Mine are the same too sometimes work sometimes don't.

After replacing a dicky one at the back the whole lot work perfectly and I couldn't live without them!

Showing off now I know - but seriously, changing one often sorts them all out.

Check they click. Ign position 2 (just before starting the car) and press the button on the centre console to activate them. Then walk round the car and see if you can hear the clicking noise.

The erratic behaviour can be down to water penetration or faulty module (in the boot where the battery lives).

possibly one intermittently faulty unit. one is enough to send the whole thing mad! get it sorted mate, much better than a dented corner!

i'd be very nervous without em... even with a reverse camera fixed (particularly with my mrs's driving adventures  )

So does that allow you to check each one individually to tell which is/are faulty?  Mine's about to have them checked under warranty but given that there can sometimes be arguments about claims and diagostics if this is the case it would be handy to be able to do a bit of self diagnosis before taking it in.

Yes - just put your ear next to each one. That easy!

Happened to me 4 weeks back and the click test was spot on - if this happens to you again, switch car off (so you can hear the clicks over the engine noise). You'll get to the bottom of it - for sure - just log it, in case it's water or the module, which will throw up stupid errors.

All mine click so I'm I right it might be the module.

Mine could be water.  I tried wiping them on several occasions and sometimes they worked after and other times they didn't hence me thinking there could be a fault.
