Morning all,
Found some banter here about the aerodynamic kits for the E53, has anyone successfully acquired one? Am looking for the front and rear bumper only. Also, wanting to get the double exhaust out the back bumper instead of the standard right side set up. Can you pass on the link and how much? Thanks guys. LOVING the X in the snow!!!

If you want the aero kit BMW direct store on eBay probably have it but it will be expensive.

It may be easier to get a car with it on already?

Always thought the Aero kit looked a bit
lost on dark colours on the E53, especially the arch extensions.  Lighter colours such as silver- looks a lot 'beefier'

Guy is from Latvija, Does it matter that I have a 3.0D rather than the 4.6/4.8? It's all the same standard bumpers right? Liking the look of the LeMans blue with these bits added.

That is not the aero kit that's the 4.8i body kit, and I looked at that but had chat with my mate who owns a bodyshop and he said what you save in buying this kit you will easily spend at a bodyshop making it fit your car.

If your after a 4.8i front bumper pm shadrack as I know he has one for sale.

If you want the 4.8i arches - BMW are /were doing them approx £220 for all the bits, I and several other got it (a bargain normally £700) I think they got the price wrong,

The aero kit the BMW store on eBay I thin shows it but the arches go over the front and rear wings. See black x5 e53 at James Paul for example

I was looking for a bodykit for my 04 model but didnt find any except the ones on ebay from all over europe,i guess the best thing is to buy an X5 with the kit on.The paul james 1 is very nice but dont like the wheels,definately would change to a black wheel

Thanks GraemeX5. Will PM him now. I like my running board, and already got the trim around the wheel arches. Want to enhance the "no bottom jaw" look in the front and back!

If you already have the arch extensions??? Then there are options for the front and rear. As someone mentioned above shadrack has a 4.8is front bumper to sort the front. You can always sort the rear through a bit of time and patience and eBay searching.
