Anyone got an Andrive Headunit for their X5??

Hi All, First post
Ive had my X5 for a little while (55 plate 4.4 Petrol)
Im looking to upgrade the soundsystem, and thought it would be worth getting one of the third party all singing all dancing units.
Have looked at Dynavin Android system, which looked nice.
I'm almost decided though on an Andrive system from
www.andrive.co.uk - does anyone have one installed? Their AN39 System is Android 4.0.4 and has far better CPU Ram etc than Dynavin from the looks of it. Dynavin seems to have android 2, which is pretty old now.
Gives Tom Tom and also OBDII functions via Android and a dongle.
Anyone got one or used one? Ive seen the E46 version in a friends car and he was well impressed.
Any opinions?

Thanks, yeah looks awesome!
I think Im going to go for this. I called Dynavin store the other day and they basically said that Dynavin were not going to be upgrading the Android units anymore, so they are stuck at such an old build of Android.
Really Like the look of this Andrive unit though, and the possibilities it has. Looks like they all have Sat Nav and Digital TV and you can just tether to your iphone for internet.
I have screens in the back too, so i can rig it up to those, so I'm told.
Happy days I reckon. Anyone have hands on experience of the unit in an E53? Fitment looks much better than the other units I've seen, which have such a curved face plate it looks totally non-OEM. Andrive is much flatter by the looks of it and from what they have said..
Ill call them Monday and let you know what they say

Actually as a side note, would anyone be interested in a group buy of these systems? Its possible we could get a discount for a group buy?
Ive joined group buys on a couple of other forums for things...would it be worth setting one up, do you think?
Ill ask them when I call tomorrow and see what they say, maybe?
Just a thought anyway if anyone else might be looking to purchase one..

Hi, I would be interested in a group buy. Let me know what they say. I have spoken to their boss tonight who confirms that there is a 10 day delivery at the moment for any orders.

I actually prefer to look of the AN46 as it looks more like the contours (little lip) of the X5 dashboard.

Done some digging on these and they are also sold here...
http://www.eonon.co.uk/GPS-Navigation.html, and seem to be the direct company according to the below you tube video...

So may be worth contacting them to get a price as running a google shopping search it brings up this...

Hi,
Yeah Ive seen those and even spoken to them before, Eonon use the same manufacturers fascia plate, but they are totally out of stock and their units don't have Android, so no net connection, or OBD2 functions or apps or streaming audio and video over 3G etc..
Also, the Eonon screen is only 6.2 inches as opposed to the Andrive which has a larger 7" screen.
Id rather pay a bit more and get a proper next gen unit, than one without the Android OS. The way Andrive just put it to me is that think of one as a Nokia 3210 and the other as a fully integrated in-dash tablet.
Looking at videos on the web, Android is definitely the one to get. I also like the fact that you can just call Andrive and they will be happy to chat with you.
Anyway I called them this morning and they are happy to do a group buy discount for 5 or more units, if we can get it sorted?
If we can get the 5 units sorted, then they will give us a discount of 10% which would work out to £59 off. not bad...anyone fancy one?

Could do with a timescale for replies or end up waiting weeks. Say by end of the week? I'm an impatient sod

Is this a straightforward replacement? I've got the standard screen with Nav, digital tv etc. i connect my iPhone via a hardwired cable.
