Battery charger suggestions?

Looking to get a battery charger for the X5, its a 3.0d#

Anyone got any recommendations?

What Ah is the standard X5 battery?

Ctek is the one MSX 700 plenty on EBay £89 + there is one  at £79.99 I think old stock?
Look on the forum re batt plenty of info I think it's 100amp S5 Bosch springs to mind about £90 with discount from  ECP

+1 for the CTEK units.  They make the OEM BMW ones too.  If you need to and have the car under cover you can leave the CTEK plugged in all the time as it conditions the battery.

Found out that the standard X5 battery is a 90Ah, so gonna go for this charger, seems like a good price

Cheaper on Amazon.....and free postage.  OK you'll have to wait a couple of days.

That model is the updated version of the one I bought and it's fine.  Takes about 8-12 hours to recharge a dead battery.

Can't remember which X5 you have but I thought the diesel was a 100Ah/830CCA (Cold Crank Amp).

Morning everyone can anyone 'really' say which Model to buy!!i have spent hours studying on the net .The 5 series priced £50,The 7 series £ 79.99 old model , £89.99 New Model or would the 3.6 model at £38ish do the job,these prices are the lowest I can find !!!

i have a new 3.6. it does the job (a Bosch S5 which i think is 100mah can't remember). it can charge maintenance mode upto 120mah.

what it means is in a bulk charge mode it will supply a 3.6a current.

if u r likely to need charging even bigger batteries buy a 5.
