Well today we finalised the deal and the X5 is officially gone. It feels like the drive way is empty without it. We'll see how long i will hang on before purchasing another X5. I just wanted to thank everyone in the forum for all the help and suggestions. I will keep wondering the forum for future tips.
I suggested for new owner to sign up to the forum so he should be saying hi soon.

When's the x5 m arriving then? 

Get a big picture of your future F15, photoshop it onto a piccie of your home, add the family and you can dream the wait away.......

Almost walked away from the deal but it still happened. I also got an mot done today yo just to be nice and no advisories, sailed thru it. That hurt me evenmore to sell a perfect vehicle but ...

Ohh .. Here is the kicker!!!
I upgraded to a 03 reg merc A 170cdi.
This thing is laaaaameee!!!
But it will do till the new one arrives or get back to states.. Whichever comes first

Congratulations and condolences on the sale buddy.

Just keep your eye on the F15 and you'll be fine.

Even more commiserations on the temp replacement.

I guess it's both good and bad news in selling your X5, verydifficult after spending so much time modding it.

don't forget to keep posting especially when you have the F15
