Used car Warranties - does anyone have any good (or bad) experiences?

I'm thinking of getting an warranty for my new E53 after the 3-month dealer provided Customer Protect Gold policy expires.

The read ups on the Customer Protect Gold warranty doesn't sound too good, so probably don't want to stay with them. The car is full BMWSH with a new 12 month MOT with no advisories.

Anyone got any advice?

Have a look for 'warranty Direct' or 'Extended Warranty' or just 'Warranty' with the search tool.  There have been a number of discussions about this and there should be quite a lot of info - with both good and bad feedback.

I'll need to do the same later this year myself.....
