Saw this on another forum.  http://www.racechip.de/en/chiptuning/au ... /index.php

An individual has fitted on of these and reports good gains. I would welcome some expert reviews. Jason?

Seems like some huge gains. I would question putting 702 nm of torque through the gearbox could be asking too much.  Isn't this around the limit the box has been test too?

I heard it was even lower , under 600 . I read an article a while ago of a late E53 having a re-map
282PS / 575NM and it was saying there that these figures are very close to the reliability threshold .
Mine's got 272PS / 545NM and it's adequate  :)

These are the same as tuning boxes
Raise fuel pressure on the diesels and boost on the turbo petrols

We have some of the best boxes out there that we have tested

The big problems with boxes is they have no limiters as the Ecu is sees normal reading

When a car is remapped correctly it still has limiters for safety reasions in the map which will put the engine into a limp mod if a components fails
