Another "What Scanner" question.

Guys, i want to buy a scanner, but looking on ebay, there are a varied range of devices, with a varied range of prices and therefore can someone point me in the right direction?

Is it just a BMW scanner, or a generic OBD 2 scanner, that is good for all modern cars, a lot of us have the Chinese version of the BMW Scanner 1.4.0, these are only £30 off EBay, Generic scanners are also available, but some codes are different. Also the1.4.0 you can code things too.
The 1.4.0 needs a laptop to run things, but other scanners are hand held stand alone units

It does the same i.e. its a Chinese Scanner 1.4.0. UK seller with very quick delivery as I'm very impatient :biggrin:
