Hi.....Has anyone got any recommendations as to what the best plug and play halogen headlight bulbs are....and also i would like to have the bright white angel eyes too.
Ive looked at the phillips xstream vision H7 ones for headlights as they seem to get good reviews. But im unsure as to what ones to get for bright white angel eyes.
Also i want them to be easy plug and play direct replacements....no modifications. And ones that dont throw up any errors etc.
Any recommendations would help.
Thanks

You ain't going to get very bright angle eyes, not on a par with the Daytime running lights on the latest E 70's.
If you look on the HIDS Direct website, they do a front marker LED kit, which consist of two replacement bulbs.
They are easy to fit, bayonet fittings.
The halogen dipped beam can be replaced with a HIDS kit. I fitted the 55w slimline kit, with canbus error free
You have to drill a 25 mm hole in the plastic at the rear of the headlight , less than an hour to fit, easy really .
Just make sure you get the canbus error free kits.
The 55w HID kits are really good better than OEM.

I didn't think you could fit HID kits into non projector (halogen) units? Something to do with the beam cut off.

As stated in the title, he has an 04 facelift car, all facelift s came with projector headlights, halogen or xenon, the halogen ones are easy to convert.
Pre facelift cars don't have projector headlights, so should not be converted, and will fail the MOT, and some have purchased Depo headlights instead

Yes, they are the same / similar as mine, these are probably cheaper too. As for the headlight dipped beam, going with just a replacement higher output bulb isn't going to give you the white look to match your new mArker lights.
The HIDS are easy to fit if you have a drill and a 25 mm hole saw. Where are you based, maybe a member near to you could help you with them. They are deffo worth buying

if you want the brightest ones get the 25w led markers
or the 10w at least. the 3w ones are barely visible during the day.
