Hi Everyone

Im having problems with my aux heater i bought one of lesmtaylor of here and changed it all over only to have the same problem as before with my original one its starts spins for a while then stops but i cant hear the fuel pump clicking.

I took the fuel pipe of and looked if any fuel was getting there but it appeared not.Any ideas please its begining to get on my nerves now a little.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated

can you guarantee the unit you bought was fault free?  Not to insult any member on the forum, but I would be inclined to think you have bought a dud.  The fuel pump WILL NOT START if the webasto has a fault logged.  When the wake up signal is sent to the webasto, it then performs checks on itself and the climate control panel in the car.  If all is well, then the signal to the glow plug and fuel pump is sent.

If you get a hold of software, you can manually activate the pump to test it, and would also be able to read the heater for fault codes.

Also, if you've not got cold weather, the heater will not fire up without a remote, or power to pin 1, but as it is trying to start - I imagine you have one or the other.

I do not recommend sticking pins into the wire, rather locate the plug in the boot and connect the two terminals with a suitable wire, and leave it connected until the heater eithr fires up and  you get heat from its exhaust, or fires up and finishes the shut down process if a fault is detected.
