E70 Angel eyes

Post by slaminge » Mon Aug 05, 2013 10:32 pm

Got new LED bulbs from Xenons4U. Which is the bulb I have to replace. Very hard to see and don't want to take one out to find its the wrong one and can't put it back. People tell me I need to tskr out the whole unit and BMW say they taker off the front bumper and charge £110 (to change a bulb !). They are Xenons on a 2007 E70 X5.
Thanks.

you dont need to take the bumper off to get the light out, and even if you took the bumper off you wouldnt get the light out you need to take the wing off!

you can get it out you just need to be patient... what xenon bulb are you replacing it should be a Ds1

Are you replacing the Xenon or angel eye bulbs?

If angel eye bulb it is the only one you can get to behind the twist off cover under the bonnet (the inner bulb lights up both Halo's). Loads of how to videos on You Tube.
