Hi
Can you please post a link or let us know were you purchased these as I have been looking to change my AE. As mentioned these do seem bright. Im also looking at the lux h8 v4 but they are a bit pricey at £200+.

Can't change the weather and they won't fit anything you have.
They were from eBay @ £55

I'd have thought that people would notice a 2.3 ton x5 in most daylight conditions especially bright sunlight.
I wanted white angel eyes - I have white angel eyes.

Interesting article to read. I'm actually in the market for some replacement bulbs for my 2008 e70 MSport 3.0sd. My warning light has just come on saying "side and daytime driving lights right side failed". I thought nows the time to replace them with new white ones rather than yellow ones.
How easy are they to fit. I had a look today and found the 2 removable / access panels behind the lights. Is it a case of opening those up and the old bulbs pop out and then just insert the new ones, or is there a lot more to it?

This is when I did mine as I had to replace anyway
They were doddle to fit and I am technically inept

It makes sense to replace them now and upgrade at the same time.
To do both side (left and right) do I need 2 or 4 bulbs? I only want to upgrade my daytime running lights and retain my existing headlights. When I looked behind the right hand side light in the engine bay there are two access panels. I assume one access panel allows access to the headlight and the other to the DRL's bulb, is that right?

The DRL lamp is behind the inner 'fake' projector headlight.
