I have a Couple of Genesis bikes, road and hard tail.  The hard tail gets very little use these days, the odd time out when out with the caravan.  I have been using the road bike a lot over the last couple of months as I try to to get both fit and slimmer.

What of, a slick racing machine cutting its way through the air at at a great rate of knots, or the more realistic, fat, old geezer, wheezing and sweating heavily (and that's at just the thought of getting on the bike) scaring the locals dressed as MAMIL?  :'(

Nice looking bikes ! I have a BMW M carbon , yes I read all the reviews , no there weren't any but have to say it is absolutely fantastic ! The only thing I would change is it keeps wanting to race cars at the traffic lights .
I have a giant for the winter TCX2 not as light as the M but brilliant on & off road , tyres must be puncture proof as I got home to find an inch long thorn in the tyre , pulled it out no puncture .
How do you find the Bianchi ?

Yep, couple of road and couple of mtb's (fs 26er and ht 29er)

I'm carrying a host of injuries after being hit by a car years ago but still enjoy cycling.

its like.. the alfa romeo of the cycling world i think.

very beautiful to look at, goes well when it goes, but i think some of the Italian components they use (Reparto Corse mostly ) just aren't very reliable.

but like all alfa owners i'm lovin it lol

I have a mountain bike and a road bike, the mountain bike is a Genesis Cube 26.5 hardtail, brilliant bike , I'm. to a serious off roader but like to do Forrest trails etc.
I have just replaced my first road bike after getting back into cycling after a 30+ year break.
I've just had her for a couple of weeks. its a Cube Agree GTC, SLT DI 2 ultegra. Its a full carbon bike with shimano electronic shifters, its a fantastic bike, I've removed the schwalbe 23c race tyres and fitted my old Specialized extreme roubaix ultra 25c tyres to it to soften the ride, as I found the 23c tyre at 120 psi too harsh. The carbon frame and the lower pressure in the 25c tyres really cuts out most of the road buzz that I got with my aluminium framed bike, which actually suffered a stress fracture on the frame due to the crap potholed roads we have to ride on, and the fact in a Clydesdale ( 200 lb + rider )
