Hello and happy new year to all!

First bit of issue with the X tonight , there was a rotational clicking noise coming from the middle of the car (like down the center right inline with the b pillar I think

Happend regardless if you were accelerating or off the power , sounds loud so pulled over and had a look but couldn't see anything (car was hot I might add)

So then had to go onto the dualer , up to about 70mph and habnt heard it since , well untill I did about 40mph I. Thought I heard it click about 3 times really fast but not sure

It was defo rotational related at the same point every time (got a mate to wall along side the car and every time the valve cap was at 7 o'clock the tick made it's noise

I'm thinking it was just a bit of crap or something stuck between the shields and shaft but thought I'd ask if there is any known issues

Now second one is the steering is now creaking/squeaking when turning , sounds almost rubber like and is coming from drivers side, I think it could be where it go's through the bulkhead as I can't hear it from outside

Again just wondering if there's any known issues

Thanks again :-)

I had a knocking noise that related to engine speed.
Would sometimes go and come back.
Weirdly appeared to disappear when the lock up clutch operated..

Finally found it to be the torque convertor flex plate had broken and was only fixed to the convertor by one bolt!
