My 2003 X5's automatic wipers don't work. I see from the forum that the light sensor is likely to be responsible. Does anyone know anyone / a garage in SW London (near Fulham) that has heard of this (common) problem and can do a repair. From what I understand this involves removing the light sensor from the glass and sticking it back on with new adhesive.

Im not sure if there is a garage the would do it but its something thats easy enough to do at home.

Couple of quid and a little bit of your time is all thats required.

We've got auto lights on ours, never thought about the fact it would possibly have auto wipers as well that don't work. Will have to investigate.
