Hi I have a 2002 e53 with 16:9 sat nav head unit this is now screaming a high pitched scream when turned on.
I have a few friends in the industry one working at the stealership. he has never come across this fault before.
I wondered if anyone has encountered this before and what was the repair. looking at replacement 16:9 head head unit from ebay as first remedy . Any input would be helpfull. Thanks

Re: e53 sat nav high pitch scream
I thought the 16.9 monitor was a display and controller, the actual radio unit and amp are in the boot under the spare wheel. I would look at the radio or amp first others may correct me here.
