Replacing rear BMW badge

Does anyone know how this is removed and refitted?  Is it stuck on or is there some kind of clip?  The B of BMW has gone funny on mine so as I've just taken the wheels in for a refurb and new tyres I thought I would attend to that to.  I guess if I order the part it shall become clear but it would be good to know in advance and also whether any particular technique is required to avoid damaging the chrome surround.

The rear one is stuck with double sided foam adhesive (sorry not sure of name) - When I replaced mine I just used some number plate adhesive pads trimmed to suit.

If you are using the genuine BMW one it may be worth asking for the adhesive pad as well if it doesn't come with one. I was replacing all my badges with carbon fibre black/white badges so not sure if its included.

I used a plastic trim removal tool to get mines off and yes it has double sided tape on the badge.

Thanks.  I have a trim removal set.  I also have some decent 3M double sided tape but will order the sticky pad along with one instead if I can.

I used a hair dryer to soften the glue  then just pulled off using a credit card to lever it :-)
