Rear suspension inactive / tyre deflation light on

This old chestnut popped up again after a period of happy trouble free driving for the past 18 months in this respect - its a "hard fault" and appears instantly the ignition is switched on and always with the tyre deflation light on as well, which will not reset in the normal way.    Am assuming it is either a sensor or possibly the boots have a split or the compressor is not working for some reason?

Have checked tyre pressures etc and all is well.  Tired of driving around in a boneshaker now and will have to get it booked in, its still on extended warranty so hopefully that will cover most if not all unless its split boots which is invariably wear and tear.......

Anything else I should check before booking it into dealers?

Tyre pressure sensor failure?  Have you got the ones on the tyre valves themselves?  I believe some had little radio transmitters rather than the ABS wheel speed checking option.

No, mine are the rolling radius / ABS type. Those ones with batteries in were on the 4.6is I believe.  It was absolutely fine, switched off and when I came to start it next morning the fault popped up - tyre deflation light comes on instantly with the self levelling suspension inactive message.  No time to book it in yet.

Is all the suspension looking ok as in all sat at the right height etc?

Is so may be the control module is playing up hence both errors appearing. Otherwise just a sensor playing up somewhere.

Does seem more electrical issue.

I thought it was sitting square but when I looked at it parked up I thought it was sitting a bit skew when viewed from the front. Must get it booked in somewhere, driving it is not fun with suspension inactive!

You seemed to have made the right decision on the warranty ...

Haha yes i was wondering when the box would go pop, the pano roof stick open and the suspension compressor give up.
