Welding Rims

Hi all

Well after nearly2 weeks of ownership  it turns out that my slow puncture is not a puncture after all but a cracked rim.  Ive got the 20" 7 spokes (i assume they came as standard - i.e. not aftermarket).

Any idea what a reasonable price for a fix would be, never had to do it before?  Should I be looking for alloy refurb people or metal-workers / welders?

cheers for any help!

Alloy refurber would be the best, or see if you can get a replacement from ebay.

If the vehicle was sold with this then I would go back to the dealer and demand they deal with it.

Try Rhino alloys, they sorted out a few flat spots in our 35d Wheels caused by potholes: http://rhinoalloys.co.uk/

It is £55 per wheel for the flatspot repairs but I don't know how much the welding costs.
