I always find the doors are not wide enough ,remember that Kenny Everet sketch when he is in the toilet as that yank general.

The mrs was driving she phoned me i was working away ,the "car wont drive it's making a loud noise from underneath" was how the call went so i took the safe option of having it taken to the gearbox shop.

Good news from the gearbox shop turns out the power steering pump broke off result! should be ready to collect thursday can't wait!

£5800 and it realy is mint  everything works new tyres no scratches and all black the gearbox was silky smooth no juddering changed and kickdown spot on just unlucky i guess!

120k some history getting it done at a local gearbox specialist .

No warning  just went bang!

The car has decided when the oil will be changed ,it also thought a new gearbox would be nice too as it blew up on the mrs on Wednesday morning bugger!

I called the local dealer and they said the same , will call in as soon as the gearbox has been rebuilt as it blew up on the mrs on wednesday morning the first 3 weeks of x5 ownership have proved to be quite costly!

I will put some photo's on at the weekend ,the k+n is on order ,looking to get the wheels done gunmetal and the kids have had the locking wheel nut key and lost it ! so need to get that sorted  now bugger.

What  engine oil would you put in  a 4.6 , should i have the tranny oil changed i think it's been in 10 years cheers
