I've had it for a year and never disconnected it however the battery did die last weekend but we jump started it and managed to take care of that problem.

I have a set of 17s on my E53 at the moment but really want to upgrade them to 19s...
The wheels are the Ellipsoid Styling type (see pic below) and are in excellent condition along with the 4 tyres.

Glad to see it worked and now 'breathes' properly! 
i took the cover off my chnager yesterday poked a couple bits pointed out on the video clip and now it works perfectly!

Had a quick muck around with the upper boot lid catch last night and it seems i have sorted out the problem.. for now?! had the wife in the fornt pressing the release button on the centre console and the boot didnt open so with a bit of help from me it lifted, sprayed some 3in1 greas into the catch ...

Been resarching the problem with my tailgate and i think it comes down to the 'Pressure pads'. Anyone ever heard or seen these before? Going to have a look tongiht and also have a ago at removing the tailgate switch unit which holds the license plate number lights to see if its possibly bad ...

You should 2 small brackets on each side of the frame work where the changer slides into. Take these off and once the changer is in place slide them back on over the holes available. You should see the brakcets line up with the holes on the framework and changer, then here you screw and tighten into ...

CD Changer problem.
Ok, another little gremlin with my 2002 X5 3.0d e53. I have to sort out the CD changer.
The original problem was when pressing MODE for CD on the radio head unit it wasn't recognsiing any discs in the changer. So I've had the changer out and in bits as thought it could be a loose screw or something ...
