And look at the pipes around the engine to try and find a split

Hi folks newbie here please go easy on me lol
So I have a friends x5 2003 3.0ltr petrol with a misfire
It happens when the car gets a wee bit warmer it’s not there right from start up.
When it misfires if you turn the engine off and straight back on it goes away for about a minute then comes back ...
