L E D rear lights
L E D rear lights
Morning all, can someone help out with this, the owner before me has had real LED lights fitted and although they look good, the "check tail lights" messages keeps coming up, apparently the warning is triggered by the change in resistance when a standard lamp blows, so I would imagine whoever fitted the new LED lights hasn't bothered to fit a resister that matches the standard outputs? Has anyone else seen this before?

As per my post in the threads linked by Sanj, solder a cap in there and all good.

Or if you don't want the hassle of soldering or fitting resistors ebay has lots of direct replacement led bulbs which are canbus compatible with the resistor already built in. I got some Cree sidelight halo bulbs, so far no check light warning.

Doesn't always work. I tried it and it was the same as it wasn't the check control causing the issue.
