Hi all
was driving back from Carlisle yesterday, when coming off the motorway I noticed the brake pedal slowly drifting to the floor. At that time there where no other warning lights. Made it home ok as it seemed fine under mild braking.
Anyway sure enough the display flashes "check brake fluid" at me today and it is low. A quick check behind each wheel and there doesn't seem to be any obvious leaks / wet patches as you' expect with a leaking joint or flex hose.
So Im assuming that the leak must be in the brake lines somewhere, and Im hoping there is a well known / common place this occurs to save me hours under the thing being eaten by our lovely Sottish midges!
any suggestions?

Common places for brake fluid leaks?
Re: Common places for brake fluid leaks?
Rear pipes inside the sills towards the rear of the car is a common corrosion site. It's occurred on here before with a couple of MOT failures. Can't remember which side they run though.

Re: Common places for brake fluid leaks?
Bugger Bugger bugger
From what I can see from where the leak is, the copper pipe above the the rear passenger side suspension must be leaking....
I can't see anyway of fixing it without dropping the rear suspension
Any idea what this might cost at an indy? Maybe need a brake specialist?
To make matters worse the 3 month warrant ran out ...2 days ago...
