Hello, newbie with x5 e53

Hi there, I have been lurking around this forum for a while, thought I better post up a hello, especially since I need help now. My x5 has been owned by a member previously on this forum, not sure if they are still around though.

My x5 is a 2002 4.4 sport in sliver with body coloured bumpers not sure if that is a factory done thing or if somebody has sprayed them.  I have owned it since January, and its currently now on 138,000.

The other thing I am confused about is at the top of my windscreen just below the rain sensor i have a sticker which has the bmw mini logo and and a number underneath, does anyone know what that is for?? I will shortly be posting up about my airbag light woes so please take a look and help if you can.

Bumpers should be colour codes but under aprons not. Yours should be black plastic between exhausts and under front number plate.  A few have been modified and colour coded. The aero pack was colour coded if fitted - car wil be obviously different I so equipped

No idea re sticker / maybe sticker is something's to do with dealer supply paint\trim protection. Never seen similar on a Bmw myself.

Get some pics up of the bumpers but as AW8 says - black plastic trim on the lower half.
