anybody know what these connectors are for??????

I've just bought an x5 and I could hear so cables flapping around in the boot so I took a look under the spare wheel undone a few bolts and found these cables that arnt going to anything.  Also what's the black box for?  And if you look close to the right of the battery there's 2 small slots but one is empty looks like it's been taken out or something. Cheers guys

Thats the traffic master control box,out of date useless bit of kit that is subscription based,better off with it disconnected.

Agreed. The TM often gives problems, which is probably why its disconnected. The plugs allowed it to be connected to the TV module. I don't think the service for that unit is available anymore now..
