broken oil cap ,

Post by Ryoken » Sun May 24, 2015 4:45 pm

whilst I was out checking my oil I noticed this , , do you think this would cause any problems with the running of the car , or will it be ok with it being sealed ?

it looks to me that it will seal ok. The sealing ring is intact and should hold oil.

The centre clamp & outer ring are intact, which is the key issue.

However, the cap will likely have cracks in it now & I'd want another cap sooner than later.

they are on E-bay for about a fiver + post (used) but should be fine.
