Hello,
Hoping someone can help with a problem I'm having with my bluetooth in a 2005 E53.
Previously connected to a Samsung Galaxy S3 with no problems. The phone went for repair and was obviously wiped back to a factory reset during this. Since then, the car won't even enter pairing mode. :noexpression:
Have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, and also undoing and redoing cables. I've read about clearing previously paired devices but can't even get the Bluetooth to activate at all to be able to do this.
Any ideas?

Bluetooth was working... now isn't!
Re: Bluetooth was working... now isn't!
When they repaired your S3 did they upgrade the Android version?
I have a Padfone and the only way to activate pairing using BMW 1.4.0 on my laptop. It then kept dropping the connection after a lot of Googling "Android Bluetooth" it appeared that in the newer Android phones bluetooth power has been reduced to save battery use. I moved the BMW Bluetooth Antenna from on top of the Nav/CD stack to up behind the rear seat. All works well now
