E53 Facelift AC 18" Fan Alternative

here goes...
Many many pages of AC fan issues here.... NONE of them solve the problem.
The failed signal always stumps us... as it is simply witch-craft that they ever worked  in the 1st place...

So, does any one know of a BMW variant that has a simple motor fan that is NOT vary speed and simply has 2 wires... and its either ON or OFF.
I intend to fit an alternative motor unit & as they all have a very similar fan hub centre, it will not be an issue to modify.

I have stripped a dead motor unit & it will be a simple excercise to refit an alternative motor to the existing fixing bracket - the one with 3 screws & it can be retro fitted without removing the front of the vehicle...

Just need a little input as to a suitable BMW donor if it exists...

I bought a universal 80watt fan unit & zip tied it in place last weekend with great success....
Now I want to go one better.

The power supply already exists at the feed plug & is fuse protected with the existing loom
